Swiss Machining
Cirtec specializes in Swiss machining of complex, difficult to machine and micro-machined components for medical devices and assemblies. With the latest technology in multi-axis Swiss machines equipped with high-speed spindles, we are able to machine components so small that they are invisible to the unaided eye. This high degree of precision and repeatability allows for the cost-effective, swift development and delivery of complex components for virtually any medical device application. Our Swiss machining capacity allows for materials of up to 2″ in diameter.
Cirtec performs Swiss machining of medical device components from all machinable, even exotic, materials including:
- Stainless Steel – all grades
- Titanium – all grades
- Precious Metals
- MP35N
- Nitinol
- Niobium

Our philosophy of medical device manufacturing is to fully machine the component in a single operation to minimize handling, reduce burrs and increase yields. We work from quality specifications developed specifically for medical components that exceeds most customer requirements. Our multi-disciplinary team of engineers, technicians and quality control staff work with our customers at every stage of development and manufacturing. This has led to an internal culture of quality-first that ensures all Swiss machined components meet even the most stringent quality and dimensional requirements while remaining cosmetically beautiful.
