Chief Executive Officer

Brian has over 20 years of medical industry experience with the most recent 14 years in contract design and manufacturing. Prior to joining Cirtec, Brian was VP/GM at Nypro Healthcare where he led the medical device and consumer health segment, an $180M global design and manufacturing operation. Before Nypro, he was General Manager, Design & Development at Flextronics Medical/Avail Medical Products and was responsible for disposable and electromechanical device design and development. He also worked at several medical OEMs including Medtronic, Baxter Healthcare, Smith & Nephew Endoscopy and Picker International.

Brian holds a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from Mercer University in Macon, GA and is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.

Chief Financial Officer

Tim is a financial and business leader with over 25 years of experience with Fortune 500 and startup companies. Prior to joining Cirtec, Tim was the Vice President of Finance at Zonare Medical Systems Inc., where he was responsible for all finance, accounting and order administration and co-managed the sale of Zonare to Mindray Medical international. Prior to this Tim was the CFO/COO for Allocade Inc., where he was responsible for all finance and accounting activities, treasury, facilities, purchasing, order administration and human resources.

Tim also held the positions of Director of Finance for sales, service and marketing and Director of Finance for supply chain management at Siemens Medical Solutions, Ultrasound Division. Beginning in 1989, Tim joined Acuson Corporation and held several senior management positions in accounting and corporate finance. Acuson was acquired by Siemens Medical Solutions in November 2000. Tim holds a BS in Finance and an MBA from Santa Clara University.

Brian Mitchard

Chief Operating Officer
Brian has over 30 years of medical device industry experience, with the majority of that time spent in and around operations concerning Class 3 medical devices. Prior to joining Cirtec, Brian was the Vice President of Manufacturing at Cardiac Insight, Inc., a start up company developing a wearable ECG/Holter device. He was also consulting to a number of other start ups. Prior to this, Brian was the Vice President of Operations at Olympus Surgical Technologies of the America’s, Global Vice President of Operations at Cardiac Insight, Inc., and Vice President of Global Operations at Viasys Healthcare (acquired by Cardinal Health). For the first 24 years of his career, Brian was in a number of developing leadership roles, leading operations in the US and Europe with Datex-Ohmeda (acquired by GE Healthcare).

Brian holds a Masters degree in Manufacturing Technology and Project Management from the Cranfield Institute of Technology in the United Kingdom. He is also a Chartered Engineer (CEng) in the UK and a member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (MIET).
